It is imperative to consider all types of available
cremation services. We offer several types
of cremation services including:
1. Cremation Services following a Traditional
Funeral Service
This type of ceremony is the same as a traditional burial
service with the exception of cremating instead of going
to the cemetery for an earth burial. You may choose
to have your loved one placed in a purchased
cremation casket or
you may opt to rent a “rental casket” for the visitation.
It is more cost effective to rent a casket and later
have your loved one placed in an alternative container
suitable for the
cremation
process. You may decide to have a visitation with
an open casket, closed casket or a private family viewing
with
cremation services to follow. After the
visitation period, there will be some type of funeral
service and then, after the service, the decedent will
be cremated. Just as when the family goes in procession
to the cemetery, the family may opt to follow in procession
to the crematory. Traditional
cremation services
of this kind will better provide closure and comfort
for some people to begin healing.
2. Cremation Services with a Memorial Gathering
or Service
In this case, when an individual passes away, the decedent
will be placed in either an alternative container or
a casket with
cremation services to follow.
Once the cremation has taken place the family will decide
whether or not to have the cremated remains present
during a funeral service or gathering. Following the
cremation services, the ceremony may take place at the
funeral home, an outdoor place, religious facility or
another location. Families will usually place photographs
and memories throughout the location selected which
allows visitors to reminisce and share stories to begin
the healing process. If the cremated remains are going
to be placed in a columbarium or are to be buried in
a cemetery following the
cremation services,
this can take place immediately following the memorial
service with or without a funeral procession. After
the cremation services take place you may opt to have
the cremains interred or scattered at a later date.
3. Direct Cremation Services
This option is cremating a decedent without any type
of gathering or service. Your loved one will be transported
directly to the crematory and in accordance with state
laws and after authorizations are signed, cremation
will take place. Families may decide to place their
loved one's remains in a decorative
cremation urn after the
cremation takes place. Following the
cremation services
selected, you may have decided to have your loved one's
cremated remains scattered or if you may not be able
to purchase an urn at this time, you can have your loved
one's cremains placed inside of a hard plastic or corrugated
temporary receptacle.
There are many other unique
cremation services
you may choose for final disposition. A few distinctive
suggestions are: cremated remains being placed inside
a casket of a loved one that will pass in the future,
scattering cremains at one's favorite place or at sea,
having the cremated remains launched into space for
eternity, placing the remains in a coral reef in the
ocean or simply placing your loved one's cremains inside
a cremation urn or several keepsake receptacles and
dispersing to family.
Often a family is unfamiliar with the many varieties
of
cremation services that are available during
this difficult time. No matter which type of disposition
selected, the opportunity to personalize and carry out
your loved one's wishes while making arrangements is
priceless. Our goal is to help bring peace of mind to
you and your family by providing the most respectful
service at the lowest possible cost. For more information
